Patrick Endler Begins New Venture as Chief Collaborator

If you were to ask Patrick Endler what makes a successful project, he would tell you it happens when people work together toward the same goal with open communication. It was that very mindset that propelled him to launch his own consulting firm, Endler Architecture and Collaboration, in the Fall 2020.

But his journey didn’t begin as a solo entrepreneur.

Endler has led an Engineering News Record (ENR) 500 engineering/architecture company as Vice President and Board Chair for ten years. During this time, the firm experienced significant growth and expansion. During his career, he managed up to thirty professional staff members including such diverse groups as Buildings, Life Cycle Solutions, Land Planning & Design, Survey, Environmental and Emerging Technologies.

But his knowledge doesn’t end in management. His experience also includes the facilitation of multiple significant public school and higher education design and construction projects as well as serving as Architect-of-Record for a neighborhood development of 26 green, single-family homes on reclaimed brownfield land.

He led key federal and state military design projects and served as the point-of-contact for two five-year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) design contracts with the United States Army Corps of Engineers valued at $5 million each.

As a licensed architect, Endler uses the ‘master builder’ skillset to develop people and the projects they lead. With experience in facilitating diverse stakeholder groups, he understands why there needs to be a focus on those collaborators who wish to be advocates for their clients every step of the way.

Endler has taken his 30 years of design/construction industry knowledge and founded the specialty consulting firm, and leveraged his leadership skills and emotional intelligence with other businesses in pursuit of people-centric solutions through:

  • Architecture and Design – Leading traditional design projects with an emphasis on coordinating multiple disciplines across varied market sectors.
  • Contract Project Leader – Performing Project and Program Management, or Owner’s Representative services for other design partners.
  • Collaborative Business Consultant – Facilitating Strategic Planning, Culture, Operations, and Governance modules for other design professionals.

With experience in an array of markets from the local higher education sphere, to medical facilities, and commercial projects, Endler Architecture and Collaboration believe that no matter your market, your needs, your budget, one thing remains true: A successful project starts with people focused on the same goal.
